Upon posting my own wedding invitations that I designed and illustrated, I was contacted and commissioned by my client to create her upcoming wedding invitations.

She explained to me the vision she had for the design of the imagery on the wedding invitation and gave me her wedding moldboard and engagement photos for design inspo. I was able to digitally illustrate their portrait and small details that made the design uniquely theirs.

One specific request, was to somehow feature the bride’s wedding dress, which we agreed would be pieces of the lace that I feature around the corners and behind the floral arrangements in the illustration.

To complement the illustration, I chose a classic serif for informational text and paired it with an ornamental calligraphic style font that felt hand written.
